初心者の方には、多くの方が成果を実感できている12週間以上をお勧めしますが、それ未満の期間でも現在お持ちの英語力により短期で結果を出すことは可能です。

生徒としての受入れは３歳以上からです。15歳以上は付添い人の必要がなく留学が可能です。ただし、18歳未満の方につきましては保護者の同意書が必要です。

基本的には日曜日チェックイン、土曜日チェックアウトとなりますが、受入れに余裕がある限り、平日のチェックイン、チェックアウトも可能です。

TESDAとは　The Technical Education and Skills Development Authorityの略で
日本語に訳すと『労働雇用省技術教育技能教育庁』となります。日本人を含む外国人を対象とする英語学校をフィリピンで開業するにはTESDA（テスダ）と言う組織からの学校認定を受ける必要があります。

はい、録音できます。なお、一部の学校では録音を禁止するのが一般的ですが、当校では授業を録音し聞き返すことを推奨しています。

可能です。TOEICの受験会場も徒歩圏内にありますが、事前にネットで申し込んで頂く必要があります。

Wi-Fi環境で接続可能です。

1週間前でも空きがある場合は可能です。ただし、パスポートの有効期限が滞在日数＋6ヶ月以上あること、見開きで１ページ以上の空きがあることなど、フィリピンへの渡航条件が揃っているかどうかは、ご自身でご確認ください。

日本のパスポートをお持ちの方は、事前のビザ取得は必要ありません。ビザ無しで渡航し、30日以内のフィリピン滞在であればビザ無しのまま帰国できます。31日以上の滞在ではビザ延長が必要ですが、セブへ到着後、学校が手続きを代行いたしますので手間はかかりません。手続きはすべてフィリピンで行います。

SSP（Special Study Permit）「特別就学許可証」のことです。フィリピン留学の場合、事前のビザ申請も不要で観光ビザ（30日間までの滞在は更新不要）で入国します。これは観光を目的とする者に限定して無ビザを与えているのであり、その他の活動にはそれぞれのビザが必要となります。そのため観光ビザやビジネスビザでフィリピンに入国した人が、フィリピン国内で合法的に勉強をするために必要なのがSSPとなります。

正式名は[Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card]と言い、フィリピン政府(移民局)が外国人のフィリピン居住者を把握するために、59日以上国内に滞在する外国人に発行を義務付けているものです。ビザの延長と同様に、学校側で手続きをします。

個人の考えにお任せしますが、ほとんどの留学生が行っていません。

留学生活で必要なものをパッキングする際に、以下の物にはくれぐれもご注意ください。
・パスポート
・航空券
・パスポートのコピーと航空券のコピー
万が一の紛失に備えて必ずコピーを数枚用意しましょう。別々の場所に保管し、もしもの時に備えてください。紛失した場合の証明書にもなります。
・カラー証明写真（5cm×5cmサイズ、背景は必ず白）1～2枚　眼鏡は外してください。移民局への各種申請に使用しますので、背景の色違いやサイズ違いは受付けられません。
・長袖の衣類
エアコンがきいていますので、長袖の衣類があると重宝します。
・辞書（電子辞書は便利で簡単、おすすめです。）
・国際キャッシュカード
・海外旅行保険の保険証
・胃腸薬や目薬、化粧品 など
セブでも市販薬の購入が可能ですが、日本で売っているものとは品質が違ったり、身体に合わないなどもあります。お腹を壊した時の正露丸や、勉強による疲れ目解消のための目薬、スプレータイプの虫よけやかゆみ止めは、日本製のほうが品質がよく重宝すると聞きます。
・日用品 など
日用品のほとんどは現地でも購入可能ですが、日本のものとは異なります。こだわったものがある場合は日本で購入してきたほうが良いでしょう。
・ノンシュガー系のど飴
授業で良く声を出すのでのどのケアは重要ですが、フィリピンにはノンシュガー系のノド飴はありませんので持ってくることをお勧めします。

夏服で大丈夫ですが、エアコンがきいていますので、長袖の衣類があると重宝します。授業は短パンにサンダルなどのカジュアルな服装でも問題ありません。

フィリピンは220ボルトの60ヘルツで、日本と同じAタイプのプラグ形状が一般的です。電圧は220ボルトで日本と異なりますのでご注意ください。各部屋にはヘアドライアーが備え付けてあります。また、ノートパソコンやデジタルカメラ等は100-240V対応の製品が多いですが、使用に関しては必ずその製品の使用説明書や充電器・ACアダプタの記載をチェックして何ボルトまで対応しているかをご確認ください。

授業に必須ではありませんので、ご自身で判断の上お持ちください。最近ではインターネットが無くても利用できるスマートフォンのアプリで対応されている方も多いです。

日本と同じAタイプのプラグ形状が一般的です。

日本でしかご使用になれない家電を使用したい場合は、必要になります。

授業には不要です。お部屋ホテルロビーでWi-Fiを自由に使えますので、お持ちいただければ日本と同じように使用できます。

CAEAでは朝食が留学費用に含まれています。
では、含まれていない昼食と夕食の費用はどのくらいか？となると・・・

・カエアで済ませる場合
カエアのあるHOTEL ASIAに併設されている日本食レストラン「般若」で昼食、夕食それぞれ１週間4,900円で毎日の食事をとることができます。1食360ペソまでの食事をレストランのメニューから自由に選べます（さらに※マークの付いているメニューも食べられます）。上記のコースでなくても「般若」で生徒が食事をする場合はメニューから10％OFF、さらにフィリピンでは当然のサービスチャージが必要ありませんので、合計約20％OFFでお得です。

・外食で済ませる場合
エアコンの効いた綺麗なお店で夕食を食べる場合はだいたい一食300ペソ程になります。1週間計算で2,100ペソですので、余裕を見て1週間2,500ペソあれば十分でしょう。おしゃれなお店で飲んだり食べたりすれば1食600ペソ～800ペソにはなります。

・ローカル食で済ませる場合
節約型の方の場合は夕食に1食50ペソ～100ペソあればローカルレストランで十分に食べることができます。その場合は1週間700ペソもあれば大丈夫です。ただ、店を選ぶ目を持たないと食中毒のリスクもあるのでどうぞとは勧められません。

上記に紹介した夕食予算に週末の旅行やちょっと豪勢な食事をすることを考えた予算になります。

例えば。

週末に日帰りでセブ島に近い「ボホール島」へチョコレートヒルズやターシャを見る観光に行った場合。
同じく週末に日帰りでジンベイザメと一緒に泳げるセブ島の南端「オスロブ」まで観光に行った場合。
週末に1泊2日でセブの北端にある「マラパスクア」に旅行に行った場合。

どの旅も4人で行ったとしたら大体1人5,000ペソ～6,000ペソあれば十分でしょう。

日本円の現金を持ってきてホテルのフロントで両替する方法、あるいは、国際キャッシュカードを使って現地のATMで現地通貨を引き出す方法、のいずれかが一般的です。

セブには「Plus」や「Cirrus」のATMが多数ありますので、多額の現金を持ち歩かないで済む国際キャッシュカードをお持ちいただき、現地で必要な時に引き出す方が安心かと思われます。ホテルの近くにもATMがあります。

なお、各部屋に貴重品を管理する金庫が付いています(スタンダードルーム以上)。
トラベラーズチェックは、フィリピンではほとんど使用できません。

You can also buy medicine here, but the quality is different from that of Japan, and some people say that it does not suit your body, so it is better to bring it. All contact lenses are at regular prices, so they are more expensive than in Japan, where you can buy them cheaply at a discount, but you can still purchase them. Cleaning solutions can be bought at the same price.

If you don't get angry or yell unnecessarily, or act in a way that arouses suspicion, you won't be particularly cautious.

The current level of English proficiency will vary, so those who have applied can consult about the content of pre-learning. For beginners, reviewing middle school English beforehand will enable more efficient learning once you arrive in the Philippines.

The hotel has a 24-hour Japanese restaurant called Hannya. Most of our customers are from outside, including foreigners. In Caea, a daily breakfast is included in the cost of your study abroad, and you are free to choose from the menu at the restaurant. There are more than 15 types of menus, including standard Japanese food sets and salad sets. You can enjoy a meal that is not 'the taste of Japan food' that is common overseas, but 'the taste of Japan', making it safe for beginners to try. There are many vegetable options, which are popular with women and seniors who want to eat a lot of vegetables.

Since it is a restaurant meal, you can choose what you like from the menu.

We will bring it to your room at the actual cost of 55 pesos.

Since this is a meal at the restaurant, please feel free to use it at any time you like. If you choose to use an option such as a lunch plan, there are specific times available for use.

As long as you don't have to go to class, it's okay to drink freely.

There is a smoking area outside the hotel.

The standard rooms that are usually used by most students are equipped with a TV, refrigerator, study desk, bed, toilet with shower and bidet, bathtub, hairdryer, electric kettle and cups. Depending on the grade, some rooms have a microwave oven and a kitchen.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel with fibre optic internet.

Since it is a hotel, towels are always available and can be changed every day.

Tissue paper, shampoo and conditioner are always available, and if they run low, they will be replenished during daily cleaning.

Yes, you can. If a family member or friend in Japan calls your room, the front desk will connect you. However, the reception is only available in English.
Our school has high-speed fiber optic internet, so you can make free calls using Skype or LINE Internet phones. Skype phones, LINE OUT, etc. can also be used to call landlines and mobile phones in Japan at the same rate as long-distance calls.

There is no curfew.

It is a rare toilet in the Philippines that allows you to flush paper.

The hotel has a simple gym with training facilities. There is no swimming pool.

It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Cebu Provincial Government Building and a large general hospital, and in a relatively safe place called Uptown.

People spend their time in various ways, such as relaxing at the Mactan resort or enjoying shopping at the mall. Of course, there are also those who stay in their rooms to study.

You can take a taxi, but for a safer experience, we recommend using an app called Grab. This can be used on smartphones.

In addition to the restaurant 'Hannya', there are various shops around the hotel, including Filipino and Italian cuisine. Robinson, a large supermarket, is also within walking distance.

Diarrhea and colds are common. Although there are individual differences, it seems that the longer you stay, the more people will be affected. Diarrhea is caused by the difference in water. Unlike Japan, the water in this country is hard water (while the water in Japan is soft water). If you get used to it, it will get better. Colds are most often caused by overuse of the air conditioner.

As for the hospital, there is Cebu Doctors Hospital, a large general hospital with a high reputation that is one or two in Cebu on foot, and you can use the Japanese Help Desk staffed by Japanese staff. If you have any issues, they will respond immediately, and if you make an appointment, there is no waiting time. Since it is a foreign country, we recommend that you get a simple check even if your symptoms are mild. There is also a similarly large hospital, Choengwa Hospital, which is about a 7-minute walk away. The hotel will respond to your request 24 hours a day, even in the event of a midnight emergency.

Things to be careful about include not drinking tap water, not eating at street vendor-like places, and not touching stray dogs or cats.

There is no tipping culture in the Philippines, so it is not necessary to tip, but some foreigners do give 20 pesos as a gesture or leave small change as tip. Tipping is not required for services at our school or hotel.

Massage parlors are within walking distance.

If you have an overseas ATM-compatible or international cash card with a mark such as PLUS or CIRRUS, you can withdraw in your local currency. Many of the cash cards issued these days comply with international standards, but please contact your bank for details. You can also use credit cards such as VISA, MASTER, and JCB to make cash advances locally. For details, please contact your credit card company.

You can use international cash cards marked with PLUS or CIRRUS on the back, but it will be treated as overseas cash withdrawal and an additional fee will be required. It is recommended to prepare a debit card type international cash card to protect against theft and other issues.

It is possible to use the cash advance function of a Japan credit card in the Philippines. However, there are some caveats, and there are ATMs that are supported and ATMs that are not supported by each card company. Specifically, ATMs with the PLUS mark for VISA cards. JCB cards and Mastercards can only use the cash advance function at ATMs with the CIRRUS mark.

Many restaurants and malls mainly accept VISA and MasterCard, but some local restaurants and convenience stores only accept cash.

It can be used in large malls and restaurants, but in the Philippines, VISA and MasterCard are the mainstream.

Prices obviously depend on the item, but there are cases where Japanese food and imported goods can be more expensive than in Japan. It is not that prices in the Philippines are cheap; rather, they are low because of lower labor costs. Therefore, while prices at local restaurants may be inexpensive, it is good to keep in mind that some items could be more expensive than in Japan.

According to statistics, the number of tourists to Cebu Island in 2014 was about 3.1 million annually. In that sense, Cebu is relatively safe. While parts of Manila and Mindanao cannot be said to be completely safe, Cebu has developed as a tourist destination, and the Philippine government is putting effort into maintaining security. From 2013 to 2014, there was a rapid increase in tourists and international students, and its reputation is improving. However, since it is a foreign country, one must exercise sufficient caution. In the Philippines, there is a significant gap between the rich and the poor, and we Japanese are perceived as all being wealthy. One should avoid walking alone at night and avoid dressing in a way that stands out. Additionally, our school is located within a hotel, which has security measures in place.

Tap water is not drinkable. Be sure to drink water from a water dispenser or bottled water. Free water is provided in the classrooms. Most restaurants are fine for dining, but I don't recommend restaurants that are close to open-air food. Please be assured that the meals served at our school are from the Japan restaurant 'Hannya', which has many years of experience. We take all possible measures to ensure hygiene.

For mobile phones in Japan, please consult with your mobile phone company so that you can use them overseas. After arriving in the Philippines, you can also buy a mobile phone for less than 1,000 pesos. Since it is a prepaid type that does not require registration, it is recommended because it is cheap and convenient for long-term residents and conversations and emails between friends. If it is a SIM-free smartphone, you can use it by inserting a SIM card from the Philippines, and if you buy a cheap smartphone here, you can input Japanese depending on the model.
