STEP 1: Review the Information & Consultation
If you have any questions about studying at CAEA, anything you would like to confirm in advance, or would like to request a quotation, please contact us through our Contact page.
A staff member will respond within 3 business days.
STEP 2: Apply for Enrollment
Once you have decided to study at CAEA, please apply through our Application page.
Students stay in the hotel located in the same building as the school.
There is no specific application deadline. However, unlike regular hotel guests, our students stay for at least one week, and some stay for 24 weeks or longer. To ensure that a room is available for you, we recommend applying 3–4 months before your planned arrival whenever possible.
Our standard schedule is Sunday check-in and Saturday check-out, but we also accept arrivals on other days of the week.
Before applying, please be sure to read both the Terms and Conditions and the School Regulations.
Once your application has been completed, our Japanese-speaking staff will send you an email with information about the next steps.
| Early Check-in | Check-in | Check-out | |
| General | ~2:00p.m. | 2:00p.m. | 12:00p.m. |
| Student | ~12:00p.m. | 12:00p.m. | 12:00p.m. |
If you already have a passport:
Please check its expiration date.
For passport validity requirements, please check the website of the Embassy/Consulate of the Philippines.
If you do not have a passport yet:
The application process usually takes 1–2 weeks.
Please apply for your passport as early as possible.
STEP 3: Pay the Study Abroad Costs
Once you receive an email from CAEA with information about the enrollment procedures, please transfer either the JPY 30,000 application deposit per student or the full study abroad costs within 3 banking business days from the following day.
Any bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the student.
At CAEA, we never allow instructors who have not completed our required training period to teach students. Because all our classes are one-on-one, you can think of the number of students as corresponding to the number of instructors required. However, we always train additional instructors so that we have enough staff to accommodate all enrolled students. That said, highly skilled instructors who are excellent at teaching cannot be developed overnight. If we do not have enough qualified instructors to provide the level of education our students deserve, we will not accept additional students simply to fill available spaces. In such cases, we may have to decline an enrollment request. To ensure that we can accommodate all students properly, we therefore strongly recommend applying as early as possible.
If there are less than 30 days until your planned enrollment date at the time of application and CAEA confirms that we can accommodate you, please arrange payment of the full amount as soon as possible, regardless of the standard three-business-day payment period.
Your bank transfer confirmation issued by the financial institution will serve as your receipt.
Once you have made the transfer, please notify us by email so that we can confirm receipt of your payment.

STEP 4: Book Your Flight
Please purchase your airline tickets yourself.
When entering the Philippines, you must have a return or onward ticket.
Students planning a long-term stay must initially arrange a ticket showing departure from the Philippines within one month of arrival. After entering the Philippines, the date can be changed as necessary. Open tickets are also acceptable.
STEP 5: Purchase Travel Insurance
CAEA strongly recommends that all students purchase overseas travel insurance before traveling to the Philippines.
Purchasing insurance online is often more affordable. If you plan to use insurance provided with your credit card, please check with your credit card company to make sure that the coverage and conditions meet your needs.
STEP 6: Prepare for Your Trip & Pack Your Essentials
Once your flight has been booked, please complete the following procedures through the designated pages:
- Pre-Arrival Level Check Test
- Airport Pickup Request
- SSP Application Information
Please complete these procedures at least 2 weeks before your enrollment date.

Copies of your passport and airline ticket
We strongly recommend making several copies in case your original documents are lost. Keep the copies in separate locations as a precaution. They may also serve as supporting documents when reporting a loss.

Students who require visa extensions should bring two photos. Photos can also be taken locally for an additional fee. Students staying for one week do not need to bring a photo.
These photos are used for various applications with the Bureau of Immigration. Photos with an incorrect background color or size may not be accepted.
